  • Engine Cleaning

I've heard about this stuff called seafoam. Could anyone tell me more about it? Is it good for our cars and how much does it costs? Is it easy for me to use or do I need to go to the shop. Aslo, has anyone ever tried slick 50? I thought about trying that. Basically I just want to do preventive work to my engine and clean it out. Any suggestions?

It's VERY easy the directions for using it are on the can. It is supposed to clean the combustion chamber, clean fuel injetors, you can add it to the crankcase. To use it in the engine you pull off the brake booster vacuum line, with the engine running poor in approx. 1/3-1/2 the can into the vacuum tube then turn off the engine and let it sit for 15 minutes, then start it back up and drive the car, you should see a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust.
