Has anyone with a 3.8L engine tried to use one of these? I bought the one with the part #102018 and it says that its for GM cars 97-02 but it seems like the connectors are different. Just wanted to know what the deal is.

    MoneyShotz,

I have it on my 98' also. The connectors don't fit like in the instruction becuase that is for the grandprix. Just connect to the female and male ends that work. If the red LED turns on, it should be in correctly.

    Anymore questions?! Just ask.

    I hope this helps.

    Joe ;)

The TPS-TEC won't work on 99+ cars, at least Casper's won't. On their website, it's says that it's not for the fly-by-wire cars.
