• Who posted Top Speed 4 A 3.8?

I've been trying to get a number from here and other boards.

Does someone here have a correct Top Speed?

And What did they use to Remove the SpeedLimter?

It was probably me, and it was between 140-145mph with 3.23 gears and a T5 in a newer camaro. Best guess is through using a spreadsheet a friend of mine built and gave to me as a top speed calculator given a flat road with no headwind etc etc. The good part is it factors in frontal area and drag coefficienct, also horsepower per gear per RPM. So you can see how gearing will affect the outcome of your topspeed.

I got the highest theoretical top speed using 3.73s in a M5, and that was near 148.

I thought the limiter couldn't be taken off? How much is this thing that does it? Not that I would ever need it

Hypertech had my car up to 145 MPH on the dyno. Real world top speed would be lower due to rolling resistance, wind resistance, temperatures, etc...
