  • need help with speed limiter

    i was wanting some help I have a 96 camaro with 3.8 five speed manual and I am having problems with finding something to take the speed limiter away and I havent found one the only one i found was the jet scu2000 but it said it was for auto's only is there anything for manuals please help

    This is a general tech question, Not advanced.

    Many ways to change your speedlimiter, none are easy for a 96. My advice: Don't worry about it unless you're dynoing or are hitting the speed limiter in the 1/4 mile (which you won't until you run 11's).

        At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
        Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
