I believe the enhanced one has all the GM DTC codes.

The Generic Parameters version has all the GM DTC's, but only the generic monitoring parameters.

The GM Enhanced Parameters contains the GM specific monitoring parameters.

If I had to recommend Auotap (which I don't), I would recommend the enhanced version to gain the ability to read individual cylinder misfires!

It's more of a grudge thing than anything...

I bought my Autotap several years ago for $250 with B&B Electronics claiming software support for the product. I used to be able to read all the GM enhanced parameters with my ole Autotap. Last year, they came out with a new firmware version (v2.0) and new software. Well their NEW software won't allow me to read the GM enhanced parameters anymore without upgrading my Autotap hardware for $99.95 and they WILL NOT send me a copy of the older software for the original v1.0 unit.

If I had known those communist bastards would go back on their word about their support (which SUCKS, BTW), I wouldn't have bought the damn thing. If I had known it would cost $350 in the long run, I wouldn't have bought it.

I still have the v2.05 DOS software but it has trouble reading some DTC's from F-Bodies newer than 1997.

I'm considering selling the POS. I'd like to be able to use my Palm m130 for a diagnostic scanner but if I choose to stick with Autocrap, it'll cost me $99.95 for the hardware upgrade fee, then I'd have to purchace the Palm software (reg code) for $139.95. $500 Autocrap scanner... like hell. I think I'll just pick up a scanner from these folks... sure they don't have the enhance parameters in their software but I don't have it now so what's the difference!?

Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
            By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
