  • how to get the plastic dash cover off?

I am curious how to get that dash cover off? You know, the giant plastic thing that usually cracks probably on most people's dashes? I heard you just simply pry it up, but I am not 100% sure on how to do that. Other sites I've seen it where the A-pillers must be removed in order to take that piece off. I have some rattiling wires behind there and would like to get rid of them.
Please let me know how to take that dash cover piece off. It would really help.

    Thanks,
    Chris

You just need to pry it off. I used a screwdriver to pry mine off. It's only held down by some Velcro looking pads...

I took off the A-pillar or whatever that is, and they came off with some ease, just take it slow so you don' break any of the clips.

Yes, the Pillars hav eto come off in order to get teh dash covering off properly. The pillars bottom fit into a groved track on teh edge of the dash cover. Be careful pulling hte pillars off as the backing that is held in is plastic. Pull them straight back and do not wiggle them. Wiggling them bends the plastic tabs and weakens it.
