  • Has anyone made a fan switch from scratch?

Anyone done this? What do I need to do it and are there any online tips on how to do it?

    Thanks

Quite a few ppl on this forum have the fan switch mod. Its not really that hard. I got my instructions from LS1.com but the instructions there ground out the relay. The page im listing provides power to the realay. Only thing is sometimes if uleave it on while the car is off and cut the car on with it still on your could get an SES. This is just a fan realy code and goes away after ur car is cranked about 2 or 3 times after....

yep, do the one dojo pasted, it's pretty sweet. it will set off the ses light though--depending on when you turn it on and such.

All the SES light is a fan circuit malfunction...the computer is trying to turn off the fans, but they won't go off (say at th rtack when you have them on high for so long waiting for it to cool off), so it trips the SES light. No big deal at all.
