Is there anyone out there who has put the suncoast creations ram air box in their v6? i put it in my 98 bird and don't really feel much of a difference, but notice when racing other 6's that i take off considerably better after 50-60mph, like if i'm behind i'll start catching up pretty quickly or start leaving other birds/camaros behind. Not sure what kind of horsepower gain it should give and if its the airbox thats even helping.

i have the full setup, i like it, but i have nothing to compare it to, as its the only one ive ever had. do you have it fully sealed to the hood?
i can hear mine at accelleration, i dont know what that means, but it didnt make it with the stock.

I have the setup like the picture on the suncoast creations site. how do u fully attach it to the hood? if u have any pics thatd be cool to see. i do hear it when i turn on the car, sucking in air and i love that sound, just wanted to see what kind of performance gains people were getting if any.

they should have shipped you foam seals, for the filter and airbox, and a giant foam rectangle to double side tape to the hood and it sits on the airbox "sealing" it.. i didnt do this, but i might rig something up that isnt foam, to make it a true "seal"

i can send you a pic of what it looks like if you didnt get one,

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
