Oil pressure survey

Ok folks, I've probably one of the few that have gotten the experience of moving from mild weather (Washington State) to warmer weather (Southern California) with my vehicle.

In washington the oil pressure was nailed at 60 from summer to winter. Down here it's at 60 when cold, but drops to 40 after running a while. (WTF?)

Can you guys let me know:
1) Engine size
2) Climate
3) Oil pressure at cold (idle)
4) Oil pressure at hot (idle)
5) Type of driving
6) For shins and giggles - Voltage reading

Oil press-

62-68 psi right after startup, regardless of outside condidtions.

right on 60 at operating temp.

voltage- usualy 14 volts, but sometimes when I push in the clutch and let the rpms drop, the voltage drops to 12 for a few seconds.

i dont remember the idle? probably around 55ish? Running its probably around 65ish.
i couldnt tell you the difference between hot and cold.

Type of driving? "slightly spirited"

The manual says oil pressure can drop to 20 psi when the engine is hot and still be considered normal.

when I'm idling alot in ****ign dallas traffic it will drop alot sometimes, but never below 20

In the 100+ weather is drops to 40-45 or so.

Hangs around 75 psi(plus or minus 10 psi) regardless of outside temp and/or engine temp or rpm.

cold, mine can peak at 85. after running awhile, it mellows out to around 65 and warm/hot will settle in at idle at about 50-55 psi depending upon the load on the engine (AC,extreme temp, terrain, etc.) I get a little guage shimmy if she needs an oil change (viscosity breakdown I guess?) But other than that never below 50

1- 3.4L
2- 66 today.. usually 70-80
3- little above 40
4- about 20
5- gentle usually
6- about 14 without my headlights on.

I asked this before about other 3.4Ls and mine was like the lowest oil pressure out of everybody..

Moved from NE (and drove in winter) to Florida, runs about 65in both climates, I dont remember seeing it below 60. As for driving, half throttle hole shots and lots of passing (too many idiot cell phone heads). Voltage ~14.

But the downside of high pressure. Rear main and oilpan leak.

5) Mostly in town -- but how I drive doesn't seem to change the oil pressure at idle.

I use 10W-30 Mobil oil (not synthetic) and AC PF-52 filter.
At anything over 1000 RPM oil pressure stays at about 65 on gage, hot or cold.
