Just looking, is the compression ratio in a 3.4 really 9/1? I thought it was much higher in stock engins? like 14 or 15 to 1. </font>
haha, if it was 14 or 15:1, you would have to run CAM2 all the time to drive it lol. anything over 11.5:1 you gotta start lookin at runnin a real high octaine gas all the time </font>
really? I had it backwards. I thought high compression was stock. stoiky something. 14.7? or whatever. care to give a confused guy a basic explanation?

Hehe, wouldn't that be funny to have the intake in the middle of the dash?

          Trans Am Creations

They sell nothing but f-body parts. Including every engine ever put in one (at least as far back as the 2nd gen I believe). They even have ls1s complete (long block, tranny, wiring harness, belt, everything), for under $3k. But if you don't mind a used engine, you can pick one up from them for like $400-$500 (they have an '01 with 30k for $500)
