  • Intresting Problem

I left town this weekend and left the Camaro at home - when I left it it was fine and in perfectly working order however 2 days later when I got home and got in it to come to work this morning, I turned the key and it was acting like the battery was dead/low. I turned the key and the dash lights flickered for a few seconds and the car turned over once...then turned itself on.

I checked the gauges and the battery has a full charge so I dont know why my car would do this.
I drove to a friends house with the ABSInop light on for a while too.

I'm really lost here and could use some help
What would cause my car to act like this.

Most parts stores (Autozone, etc.) will check your alternator for free. Most will also do it while it's still in the car. Run it to a parts store and have them check it out.

BTW: if it's bad, and you plan on upgrading your stereo, or adding additional electric stuff, you may want to spend a little extra, and get a higher amp alternator than stock.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
