I use synthetic on all my 3 cars and they all have a small leak. My brother use regular oil on his 2 cars and they both have the same high mileage as mine and they don't leak.

I'm guessing it does cause leak, but it's healthier for your engine.

Synthetics are know to leak more - and if you look at the oil pan "gasket/windage tray" design you'll see that it is a major point for leaks.

Zero leaks on the truck, and your right about our oil pan , the Camaro has a little around the pan but it doesn't drip on the ground. Using 5w30 on the truck and 10w30 on the Camaro both Amosoil.

Remember hat if there's already a slow leak, it will leak faster if you use synthetic oil.
