RPO code - service parts id

    RPO code - service parts id

    On my door jamb service parts id codes...

    One of them says L36. If I look up the L36 code, it says "427 cu. in. - 390 HP". For a V6? I think not...

    Does anyone know what this code actually means??

        L36 was changed to the 3800 V6 (231 cid). It used to denote the big block in the 60's I believe.
