  • how do you fix corrosion

    Took off the wheel well cover and I found 2 large holes where the water have been sipping thru. This is due to corrosion.

    Now would sand papering it and bondo work?

    That would be a way to cover it, but not eliminate it. Get some pics. If it's surface rust, it's controllable. If it's through the sheet metal, you'd have to replace.

      Bondo isn't structural - it will just crack and die in an application like this. You'd grind off all the old rust and either weld some sheet metal or maybe some fiberglass mat in there.
