2001 camaro. Started running really roughly, misfire code showed 300, multiple misfires.

Checked fuel pressure, spark, etc. all fine.

Did compression check and number 5 is totally dead, zero compression, all others are up to
normal specs. No water in oil or oil in radiator. What does anyone think? Head gasket or
    stuck valve. HELP.

Try squirting some oil into the cylinder through the spark plug hole and check the compression again. If it improves its the rings. If not, its probably a valve.

      Re: dead cylinder

if you have no compression on one cylinder at all the valve is stuck open/burnt/bent

the cylinder beside it should be a little lower than the rest as well though...

Looks like a broken valve spring
