I purchased 2 remotes off ebay to replace my weak one. I followed the directions on how to program them I found in other threads but it didn't work. When I cycled the ingnition 3 times like they said the doors never locked and unlocked like they should have.

I saw that those cars were later model years than mine though. Is there a different procedure for a 1994?

There should be a procedure in your vehicle's owner's manual... try that one

The manual that came in my car is from a 1995. It says to use a jumper between the #8 and #4 pins in the data link connector. The problem I have now is the diagram in my manual shows a 16 pin connector and I have the older 12 pin connector. If someone could tell me which two pins to jump on this one I should be able to program them.
