ok...so here it goes KEY: EC=electric cutout TB= throttle body C= cutout
so...if my theory is right if EC #2&3 are closed he would be getting boost, just like an STS turbo... if wanting to run N/a he would open EC #2&3 and close EC#1.... what do you think?

why have two ways and block one off?

there should be just be one exhaust pipe leading to the turbo.

opyou would need to have two seperate tunes for the car, you couldnt just open and close the cutouts when you wanted to.

i thought about that...could i not just hook up an FMU? its not like he would be running an insane boost level...im like 6-8 PSI

theoretically though i suppose this setup could work, but it seems like a lot of work, plu swhy would you want to run NA, when you paid all that money for a turbo kit?

becuase its a daily driver, and the biggie, his parents will not let him mod his vehicle...so basically he cant be spooling a turbo around home

also that one pipe leading to the turbo could not hook back up with the exhaust later, it would just have to end at the turbo.

I dont know, im not sure how the fuel system would work going from boost to no boost like that as he saw fit.

also, Im not sure that cutout by the filter is going to hold boost at all.

why couldnt it go back into the catback? the way a FMU was explained to me (my camaro is supercharged) was, it detects the amount of VAC and adds the fuel as it sees fit, also when the vac turns to positive pressured air it adds more fuel (my 6:1 for instance, per 1 psi of boost it adds 6 fuel....) so that being said....could this work?
