The Apexi box isn't going to work for me after all... So I ordered a Mini AFC 2.0 from Zoomer. It has a preprogrammed fuel curve for using an LS1 maf sensor (like I am), and it has user programmable curves too.

It is supposed to be here Wednesday. But then I go out of town for a week and a half on Thursday....

The 6-10 psi was definitely stronger than the 6-8 psi.

When I looked at the autotap log from last Sunday's run (0-100mph) I noticed something interesting. The acceleration was nearly as strong in the 90-100 mph range as it was in the 40-60mph range. In other words, it kept pulling equally hard on top end, instead of falling off.

That was with 10 degrees of knock retard too. If I take out a couple of degrees of timing, it would probably eliminate most of that kr, and should run even stronger.

Maybe I need to invest in a TRC-1. My top end is BAD. I only trap 93mph in the 1/4 mile....Of course beffore the powerdyne I trapped any where from 82- a one time best of 87mph. Now I trap any where from 89-93 mph. Since back then I was usualy around 85 mph and now Im usualy around 92 mph, I guess I did gain 7 mph on average. Still pretty weak for a supercharged v6 though.

But the thing about my set up is that I never see much boost in third gear for some reason....Say it jumps to 6 in first gear and then to 7 in second gear........When third gear hits it will build very slowly and usualy not even be at the 5-6 pound mark before I reach the end of the track.

So usualy on my top end at the end of the quarter(where I need boost the most ) Im only getting like 3-4 pounds at most.

Thats why I cant wait to get the new pully. If it starts at 6 pounds in each gear and builds to 9-10 pounds then my track times and mph will shorely be much better.

I should finish the quarter at 95 mph.......I NEED MY PULLY!!!!!!!

John, did you figure out exactly what belt we should use on your new wrap configuration (sorry if it was already mentioned somewhere else, I just didn't see it)?

        TIA,

          I'm running a 103. It's a little tricky to put on.

If you can get a 103.5 or 104, that would be the best.

You might even be able to get by with a 105 (that's what came with my used kit), but I think the tensioner would be at the end of it's travel.

I just use the berlt that came with the kit and have NO problems with the tensioner. Of course thats on my current 3.1 pully.... I cant see a 2.8 being much different though. Oh...Im referring to the JohnDpower rap of course.
