Does anybody have one? A buddy of mine has one in his 89 camaro, and I was wondering if it is possible to put one in a 1997 camaro, and if so how would you go about doing it. Thanx

push button start sounds sweet, but i would never want it in open view.

So is it my understanding that you wouldn't need the keys in the ignition for this to work or you would but they'd only have to be in the "on" position?

Currently, I have it wired so that the key has to be put in and it has to be turned to the "On" position. By doing this, the VATS systems is still enabled.

Some people may say, "Well what's the point if you still have to put in and turn the key?" The point is it's unique and more importantly I like it.

Also, you can wire it so that it bypasses the VATS system. To do so, you must first measure the resistance of the chip in your key. Then you match up resisters to get the same value of the chip in your key. After doing so, you then plug the resistors in the shape of a U inline of the small connector that runs up to the steering colunm.
Soon I'll probably re-wire mine this way. However, I'll also wire in a switch(which I will hide) that will have to be flipped, to close the circuit and enable the button to work.

Where did you get your push button start at, and at what price did you buy it? Did you install it yourself or have someone else do it? Just let me know. Thanx man!

This doesn't actually look so hard... I think I might try it.
