I bought straight boots and only converter 2 of them to 90* in some spots for me with pacesetters 90* would just not go on snug

        Re: MSD Coils and Wires.

I have had both MSD coils and their spark plug wires on my car for quite some time. Never had a single issue with them.

Its probably the first Gen of MSD coils that sucked.

              Re: MSD Coils and Wires.

I've run the MSD coils for waste spark ign. systems for about five years. I have not experienced a problem with them...ever. I also use MSD Super Conductor wires and Denso IT20 spark plugs.

i switched to msd coils and wires and car never seemed to run as well after....misfired etc whereas it did not before....i would stay away and just go with stock replacement coils and maybe a different aftermarket wire

Yep. The first gen MSD coils were red and squared off on the tops and looked different then the stock ones. The second gen coils look just like stock coils but are red and have brass terminals. Had mine on since 2005 with a DIS-4 with no problems.

Do you have the website where these can be purchased?

Did you notice any difference from stock ones?

Any of the big mail order companies sell them. With just the coils no DIS-4 the car started quicker. As for power increase, the *** dyno showed no increase.

                          Re: MSD Coils and Wires.

I figured it was just their 1st production that was flawed. Good to hear the rest of their coils are good.
