Anyone know how hard it would be to do this to a 93-96 gauge cluster?

From what Ive been reading it isn't much difference in the difficulty maybe a few more screws here and there and different amount of lights but the difficulty is about the same id imagine

I did it on mine , mines a white face gauge cluster and at night its blue , let me see if I have some pics. Install isn't too hard just have to find where everything comes apart.

Did you have to replace the lights behind the cluster??

I just went with the whole cluster off ebay for like $25 or something like that it has the lights in it and the gauge needles stay the same color , you just take off the gaauge needles carefully, and remeber where they go on and then install the new cluster or you can guide the needles through the new cluster , its been like over 10 years so its hard to remember , but theres write-ups and install directions for them. I'll take updated pics when I get my new Sparco steering wheel installed.

                      Re: LED Interior Swap

All I'm wanting is the LED lights that go behind the cluster. I like my black cluster but I want it to light up like the one on the first post of this thread.

Gotcha, it does look good too, and less work to do installing a whole new cluster. Good luck to ya.

If you have crank windows, your doors don't have the door lights. You could run your own wiring to them from the battery with an inline fuse though.

But if you're going that route, you'd need a killswitch so t wouldn't run down your battery. Something like what's on an amp...
