Talk to anyone with a Y87 car: their car will stall up to a little over 2000 (around 2200-2300.) I know for a fact that STOCK, my non-Y87 would only stall up to 1800. Hence, even when I had 3.42s installed I couldn't do a burnout because it wouldn't rev high enough. I had to get my 3000 stall for it to do that. :)
I haven't done a real burnout in a couple of years though, it's hard on the car and it gets boring after you've done it a couple of times. I can say my car will do a nice burnout, that's good enough for me.
