Is there a way to wire a switch like with the cooling fans? I saw a box on SLP's site about it, but would rather save the money.

quote:
I got tired of turning ASR off everytime I started the car so I cut one of the two lines going to the ASR motor (behind battery) and ran a
lead from each of the cut ends to a switch under the dash.
If the switch is closed, the circuit is complete (like stock) and ASR is on. (Still can be switched off at stock rocker switch).
If the switch is open, the ASR system is disabled, the "ASR OFF" light shows up on the dash (just like if you used the stock rocker).
This mod does not set a code on my Z28.

\" As being is to becoming, so is pure itellect to opinion, so is science to belief, and understanding to the peception of shadows.\" - Plato

Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
