      Wouldn't the shifter shake then?

        Yeah that’s true , it probably would shake.

              Haven't had the weekend time to investigate - but - a couple weeks ago backed out of the garage - nothing. Drove around circle, backed up, forward and got it to make noise - I'm thinking now an issue with the right side caliper.
