ok heres my story short spun a rod bearing in my 99 camaro A4 3.8L. not too much damage replaced bearing and plasti gauge reads between 0.002 and 0.003 so should be in ball park for max spec of 0.0022 - 0.0026 (checked 3 different places got 3 diff numbers go figure)
got it to fire up sounds good still cant drive yet header's rubbing on steering shaft after moter went back on mounts.

but my big question is i been doing alot or research on the new camaro v6 and was thinking would be nice to have but dont know if it would bolt to our 4L60E as they come with a 6L50 6 speed but some other car'e that use the same engine are 5 speed auto's not sure whaic one yet but any one think it would fit? maybe relocate motor mounts?
the difference between the camaro and other like say from a G8 is compression 10.2:1(261hp) - 11.3:1 (304hp)and maybe more (agressive cam i assume)

please dont say just go with an 8cyl eng. I like having the lil engine that can ;)
