    Re: heads

im not 100% but i know for sure the intakes are different

the heads should be the same with only the intake as the difference, but this doesnt apply to the supercharged 3.8's as the heads are different, im sure of that

      Re: heads

I believe the difference is that the fwd cars have the injectors in the heads...where as we dont.

          Re: heads

I thought even the heads not off the s/c cars (like bonneviles and lesabres) are also different no?

I know up to 03' Buick lasabres are the same , because Meatyshells used the buick engine and heads for his car.

                Re: heads

Buick is FWD so you cant use LIM or UIM just the heads ,block, everything has to be switch over ,oil pan , oil filter, and intakes etc.

Supercharged 3.8's have the injector ports in the heads, unless trying to rig up a direct port nitrous system with them they will not be useful on a N/A 3.8 engine.

                        Re: heads

any 3800 II or III NA heas are the same

all SC L67 or L32 head has the injectors bosses in the head, I'm not sure if you can plug the hole or not and use them (they will bolt to he block but no sure about intakes

any 3800 II or III block will work in a RWD car
