you'll need the motor, the computer and harness, the radiator, the k member and suspension (v8s are heavier) gauge cluster and I believe the interior dash harness. as far as the exhaust, I think its pretty much not a bolt up, you would need a v8 exhaust with cats. i believe y pipes are different.

there is a website that has the years and what you need to swap out motors think its http://www.tacreationsusa.com/ do a search, you'll find it.

thought the harness was needed for the different speedos. someone was complaining about how their gauges didnt work because of the harness... well if its true, then that makes things ALOT easier.. its a PITA to take that dash off and put it back on.
        Luck on your build man

You only need the dash harness if your using a 99 up PCM and wiring harness in a 98 car doing an LS1 swap. You also need the fuel level sending unit for the 99 up LS1 swap into a 98 car.

This doesn't make a different, but you will probably want to get a new rear end with posi. I know I would want it if I was doing a V8 swap.

truely.. even the posi units they put in the v8 cars are weak, they are a hit/miss type thing, some people dragrace with the stock unit and 500 rwhp, and others have had them snap taking off from a stop sign in 2nd gear
