i would go with a vs cam, it has the same lsa as our stock cam so it doesnt have that loopy idle and im pretty sure it likes FI

            Re: best factory cam?

with the vs cam and 1.8 rockers you would have ~ .567 total lift which i think is way too much lift for stock heads.

why are you set on having rockers?
Most of the time rockers are an alternative to doing a cam, so if you are doing a cam i dont see the need for rockers

exactly i didn't want to do a cam not because of time or money thats no an issue i have all the time in the world i just eally like the idea or rockers.. and i wanted the most i could get out of them which is why i wanted a better factory cam.. i will just stick the the 1.9 rockers for my winter install

oh, ok so you are doing rockers and want to know if a different stock cam would work, gotcha.
answer, both l36 and l37 cams are the same :)

I like my VS cam and it does like FI or nitrous.

No sound clip, sound clips are useless becasuse they never sound like the real thing.

Why would you opt to do rockers if time and money aren't a concern for the cam?

That's like saying "well, I COULD go faster, but I'd rather not"

my g/f drives this car quite often and we take ot on long rode trips and she hates the lobe of a cam and i don't really care for it in a v6 either..

Just dont get a cam with a tight LSA and you'll be fine.
