  • Easy HP?

What are some things I can put on my car for some easy horsepower? I have a 3.8 series II v6. I'm looking to add as much HP as I can without supercharging it.

    Thanks

"easy hp" is hard to come by lol...the cheap things u can get which isnt really cheap is cai, hi-flow cat and cat-back, cam it and go with headers...other then that theres no such thing as "easy hp" none of it is real cheap...

        Re: Easy HP?

as far as the intake, if you build it yourself... it's cheap... the exhuast, ok theres a few hundred, but easy... well headers can be a pain, especially if you break a manifold bolt off in your head=\... other than that, i agree with 96greenmachine, there isnt easy hp... nor cheap hp... atleast on our engines...

ok, ill leave the jerk's comment...

        get a v8... 'nuff said.

get about 2-3 of the turbonator setups off of ebay. Easy 75-100hp from that.

Performance chip off of ebay, easy 10-20hp within minutes

Some guys have seen great results from hooking up a leafblower to their intakes as well and running them with a convertor box out of the cig lighter to get the power.

Autozone or Murray's might be running a special on some APC stickers, they add about 5hp per sticker.

After all of that is done, SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE SEARCH FEATURE!!!!!!!!READ STICKIES AND MODIFICATION ENCYCLOPEDIA LINKS AT TOP OF FORUMS!!!!!!

dude that just gave me an idea... get a gas powered leaf blower, and set your fuel system up to it so when you give your car the gas, it does the same for the leaf blower... oh man ima be smoking those import tuners in no time... go leaf blowers...

nah, you get less mpg that way, using the cig lighter allows better mpg, no pullies to add as well, and less headaches
