i only ask if this would work because i called a car dealer and they said they discontinued these part. i was just wondering if this is one of the parts that would match for the lt1 to the 3.4

no it won't work bc the hoses hook up differently, basicly the hoses are longer on lt1 bc the waterpump is up closers to the front of the car than on a 3.4

Re: would this work on my 3.4

I suggested you look this up yourself in the parts manual. I never trust the dealership to give me the correct part number.

The entire heater hose assembly is different between the 3.4 and LT1. GM part numbers are 10140811 for the 3.4 and 10236039 for the LT1. The whole assembly is made up of about a dozen individually-available parts however, and many of those are the same between the V6 and V8.

But the entire assembly for the 3.4 is available through gmpartsdirect.com for around $50

Hell those guys on eBay are crazy because the gmpartsdirect price on the LT1 hoses is under $100.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
