Does anyone have tis cam yet and did you have to replace valve springs and retainer locks. I want to get this cam really bad. Also do i need any computer tuning or a high stall conveter due to rpm-range of the cam

I will have it soon.. I do recomend changing valve sprigns. Some members from ClubGP.com have had some really bad experiences with high lift cam on stock valve trains such as valve springs braking and valve guids being smashed.
I have new valve springs/locks/retainers for mine.

Not sure, I don't know what the specs are on the LT1 springs... You'd have to ask Tom.. I'm interested in the difference.

here is the reply i got from tom about his valve springs he has for 250.00
the springs are designed to use stock retainers and loks, so theres no
need for new loks and retainers.
We set the springs up to provide 120 pound seat load and .520 lift. hope this helps keith, so keith tell me why thrasher would be better? whats the worst thing that could happen if tom doesnt change loks and retainers?Comment
