• Broken bolt

Well as the topic says I broke a bolt in the exhaust manifold. It's where the EGR bolts onto it. Now there's a slight leak there with a pretty noticable ticking, just looking for suggestions... Should I block it off, and just !EGR, or JB weld it for now till I get headers, then deal with it? On a brighter note, I did get the valve cover gasket replaced on the driver side. Tomorrow I'm gonnn tackle the pass., so no more leaks for me!

JB weld won't work... I tried to jb weld something on my 3.4L exhaust manifold let it dry for like 24 hours, started it up, within 5 min it was cooking off.

I'd try to block it off...

Just take it off. Get some aluminum plate and cut out some block off plates.

I have a broken manifold bolt in the head.... If it makes you feel anybetter. We could not get it out, we had vice grips on it and it would not budged. We pulled on it til there was basicly nothing left.
