  • Kinsler fuel injection (again)

The last time I posted about Kinsler, nobody was interested. I have more information now and I remember reading a post about someone looking for some fuel injectors, so maybe this will help them.

After a few emails back and forth, Kinsler told me that they have a system for the 60-degree (3.4L) V-6 but not the 90-degree (3.8L) V-6. They do, however, make a mechanical application for the 3.8L. It's pricey, but it's top of the line stuff. I don't know much about carbeuration myself, but if anyone wants the document they sent me about their systems just ask for it.

Posting here is a good idea, actually... I cant paste the document they sent me... and I can't easily make it into a webpage (i tried). The document details the mechanical (carbeurated) setup for the 3.8L engine:

          750cfm $625.50 (Standard series)
          1000cfm $645.50 (Standard series)
          1325cfm $750.50 (High-Flow series)
          1600cfm $788.50 (High-Flow series)

The document also lists options for these mechanical setups.

I just emailed them about the electronic system for the 3.4, so it might be a day or two but I'll post their response when I get it.

Well on that I'm not really sure, I guess. The impression I got was that it turned it completely carbeurated. I'll send you the complete email they sent me, you might be able to make more of the document than I have.

do they make cylinder heads along with the intake manifolds? wonder if you could just match the heads and intake, but not the actual injection system?
