...I've jus recently pulled my lifters(94-L32). Trying to solve a ticking/tapping sound. All looked well, but one.
...It wasnt worn at the base, it wore vertically around the the sides. Sort-of like a pentagon(but with alot more sides)
...Can anyone explain why it did this?

Are you ok? you just posted 5 time ins like 15 minutes! wait for a damn answer! it takes a while sometimes. I cant think of why it did that but you should replace it.
