  • Old School Pics of my F-Bodies

Ok, I heard the calling for more Third Genners to participate. I have been working on all 3 including my black '96 Camaro ( 4 F-Bodies total) and can also offer some advice to those who need help. I believe in thorough preventative maintenance schedules for these awesome vehicles to enhance pure driving excitement, that is the key. I also enjoy reading from fellow 3rd Genners here who modify the piss out of their vehicles so it's all good. You all know we could stuff a big block with less headaches than on a 4th Gen vehicle and still turn heads.

These are some pics I'll share. Included is my '88 IROC Z28 which I am currently working on now and the Dark Royal Metallic Blue '83 Trans Am. My girlfriend destroyed my white '91 Firebird so the front clip something to work on and possibly parting out but undecided at this point. Click to enlarge the pics.

Let's all start putting pics of our beloved 3rd Gen F-Bodies and keep this thread more interesting!

      Here ya go

I plan taking the summer off from school and earn money to repaint her white. You may not be able to see it but the front and rear need to be repainted. The pain has gotten bad in those areas. So there is temporary spray paint there. Also my dash.

I have lots of old pics but my scanner is giving me trouble. If I get it to work I will post the cars that I used to own.

                    another angle

yes, i did eventually fasten that moulding to the door. passenger side was full of bondo from a previous owner :(

notice the amount of tire clearence in the front. it still had the 4cyl springs holding the 350... tires only rubbed in reverse on a full right turn believe it or not.

There is a day when 4th gens will be this old, but I don't think there will ever be a day when they spell "redneck" like a third gen. ;)

Just razzing you guys, I enjoyed looking at the pics, especially in the first post with the chick and her 80s hair!
