Rob Berrings ...?

Question: What can I expect to happen when a rob berring gives out? Physically what will the car do, sound like?

I have had 3 opinions on the "ticking" noise that my engine is making and all 3 said it was probably rod berrings going out.

Do you mean your Con rod bearings? IF so you will eventually spin the bearing off the crankshaft and the con rod will bang up and down on the crank shaft really fast and possibly bend the crank to where the engine wont be able to turn freely any more and your car wont run at all.
