Found a mouse in my intake?

I pulled my air box to see if my air filter needed a change and what do I find in there? A freakin' mouse! It was dead of course, but WTF! There was a whole nest in there, but only 1 mouse. I assume that that may have been what was affecting my gas mileage, lol.

I just thought it was funny, and I wanted to share.

So what kind of weird stuff have you found in your cars?

hahaha! my mom found a dead bird in her grand am last year...:) actually my little brother was helping clean her car, and he found it

Mouse.... he he funny, not new to me.... but funny.

Well Im in college and im a car detailer for Hertz, and I won't get started on what I find. But recently someone hit an Exotic bird, yea an exotic bird like some yellow thing in winter, in freaking winter go figure and it was stuck in the grill of an Ford Escape. Guess who had to pull it out, and well the bird started.... well breaking apart when I was trying to poke it out. Was funny and disgusting.... mostly disgusting.

hahha thats a great story, i wonder if this thread will turn into a "what i found in my car" thread.

I've never found any animals but when taking apart the dash i found old prom pics of the guy who i bought the car from =)

When I pulled my center console out I found 2 Trojan Magnums. Unused too!

when i got back from school, my whole engine bay was full of little berries from some bastard rodent using my car as a warehouse...

I changed the intake on my 2000 malibu and found a frog that was burnt to a crisp. I guess the little booger climbed right up in there and fried.

I was changin the thermostat on my girlfriends car.. had to remove the airbox lid to get to it.. mercury topaz.. psh. Eh it wasn't a critter but I found motor oil in the filter. And as for the critters.. in the summer there was a family of finchs that loved to jump up into my engine bay. I never found a dead one but I did find above the passenger valve cover twigs and grass.

I found a mouse nest in the gear housing of my snowblower yesterday. Luckily, no mouse.
