well, ive had my permit for a little over a week now. 1 week and 2 days to be exact.
the camaro has been on the road for a month, linsence plate on the dash
no problems, but today was different.
i pass a cop, no big deal, but my 20 yr old sister, (which is illegal to have her supervise me in the car) says watch him pull you over.

which he does.:omg:
i start shaking, which is relativaly funny to my sister.
i ended up telling him my lincense plate bracket is in the back, (which it was) but it wouldnt fit on the the front of the car.
he bought it and let me go. thank god.
never asked my sister for her ID. thank god again.

my sisters boyfriend has a 98 riced out mazda protoge.:slap:
he got pulled over yesterday, for the same exact thing, from the same cop.
his excuse? he didnt want to drill through the body kit. got a ticket.

My first time being pulled over, 111mph in a 50mph zone.
First car: 94' Trans Am, Red/TTops.

I was in the left lane in the country passing a car, and a cop was coming toward me about 1/2 mile down the road.

I got pulled over, the cop cut me a break and wrote it for 91mph instead of 111mph and it cost me about 300-350 bucks.

My first time.....

I was coming over a bridge from WV to Ohio messin around with a fox body in my 3rd gen. At the bottom of the bridge the road forked, he went left and I went right to head to the next bridge to go back to WV. I let off the gas and started slowing down. It was 35MPH zone. I pass a car lot with a cop in it running radar and I'm doing 52MPH. I knew he was comin so I decide that I was gonna get to the bridge turn right and punch it before he can get me. I see him start coming when I make the right. I floor it and the damn thing stalled. It wouldn't restart until he made the right so I turned the car off and he got out and walked up to me. It was me and my best friend. We were both 16 and it was about 2:30am on a school night. I lived on my own and his mom didn't give a **** what he was doin. We were out past curfew of midnight, both front seatbelts didn't work, I had ohio plates with no registration cause I only had the car for a week or so, no proof of insurance on me as it was in my dads name who had ohio plates but we lived in WV so I had a WV license. The cop asked me why I was speeding and I told him I wasn't speeding to speed but just driving down the road headed home. I then told him my parents were divorced and the car was registered to my dad but I lived with my mom. He told me to take my buddy straight home and then get myself home and to get to bed for school. He let me go on everything!!!! That was the one and only time I've been let go completely that I remember but it was a hell of a time to be let go.

got pulled over one night when i was driving to a party. i was accelerating up a hill, and the next thing i knew i saw the lights. cop told me i was speeding, i told him i wasnt. he told me i ran a red light, i told him i didnt... so i asked him for proof of both things, he went back to his car for a few minutes, then came back and told me to have a good night and to drive safely.

my FIRST time getting pulled over was when i was 15 and me and my best friend went joyriding on his dads motorcycle at 4:30 am after getting back from the clubs... i dont know why we got pulled over, but it wasnt fun. i was shaking so much! i got to go home, but my friend got taken into the station. (this was in italy)

then last december i got pulled over (chased, and arrested. most of you know the story) and that was the scariest thing in my life. waiting in my car, being surrounded by at least 5 cop cars... just waiting for them to come get me. = $1500 in fines

then i got "pulled over" in the truck... except i was already stopped at a gas station, that was scary because i had no idea what i did wrong... luckily i already knew how to talk to cops, and i was really respectful. got 4 tickets for fake inspection stickers. = $500 in fines.

then a few weeks ago i was driving the work truck (F250 Lariat turbo diesel) to go pick up some tanks of oxygen. pulling out of the parking lot, the tailgate came unlatched and they fell out... so i had to run around trying to get them all back in the truck by myself. i was all shaken up, and pulled out the wrong way. i was stopped at a red light, and the people who had the green hadnt started to go yet... so i went. because its such a big truck, i didnt accelerate fast enough and by the time i got into the intersection the people had already started to drive... so a cop pulled me over for right on red into traffic or something like that. i didnt have proof of insurance or anything (work truck)... so the cop took my license, then came back and gave me a verbal warning and told me to drive safely.


so yeah, i dont have good luck.

Hell, I got my camaro when I was 16 years old and drove it almost everyday through 2 1/2 years of high school and then through my sophomore year of college with out any sort of run in with the cops. Then I "retired" it in October 2006 and bought a Pontiac Vibe for my everyday car so I wouldn't put a lot more miles on the camaro and then this April I got my first speeding ticket for 42 in a 30 zone. I was pretty pissed. I just simply told everyone that it only figures that I drove a sports car everyday since I started driving and had no problems, then I buy a vehicle that is no where near a sports car, has almost half the horsepower, and has a lot more room, and I finally get a speeding....just prefect!

First time ever getting pulled over was on prom night my freshman year... I snuck out to take a girl friend of mine to after prom, decided to take her in a bit late, stopped off somewhere and was getting some head on a deserted road.

After finally dropping her off I was driving 77 in a 50 in a 91 escort pony that wouldn't shift into 3rd gear. The car smelled like it was nearly on fire when the cop pulled me over. I was nervous as **** figuring out a way to tell my parents I got a speeding ticket after I snuck out of the house lol.

I've been pulled over a few times, but I had a similar run in that you had.

My plate lately has been in my windshield, but for a while, it was under my seat. I got pulled over when I was out of town for not having it, and I told the cop that the bracket broke, and showed him that the front grill was gone (which went perfect with my excuse lol) and he let me go. Ever since then I put it on the dash in the window and i've had no problems :knocks on wood:

I was 16, been driving for 3 months now.

I had an early curfew which I was going to be late for, I was in a hurry.

I was coming up on an intersection, the light turned yellow. I couldnt make a decision on what to do. Speed up, slow down. SO I just went through the thing without speeding up and didnt quiet make it. I just so happened so catch a glimpse of an unmarked crown vic on my left as I was passing and I knew immediately he was gonna be on his way.

It was scary seeing those blue lights for the first time. Let me off with a warning and I still have the little piece of paper to this day in my wallet.

I tried to outrun the cop in my first car

a 4 cyl mustang... weighted down with 4 or 5 people nonetheless

Didn't have my license too long. Was doing about 2x the speed limit on a back road and blew a stop, because my friends said the infamous words "theres never any cops on this road"

Then when we saw the cherries the unanimous decision was that I could loose him. Looks so easy in the movies and dukes of hazzard right?

Believe it or not it would have worked too. I pulled into a long dark driveway and cut my lights. Running over reflectors and probably some flowers and other crap along the way.

Except I forgot the brake lights. Shoulda used the damn parking brake!

i had my license like 2 weeks...in my 02 maro...i was 5 miles away and had like 4 minutes tull curfew...i was flipping out on this 3 way main street. it was medium traffic, i was weaving in an out going what felt fast as hell (with cut out open) and i look back, and their go the lights...i cut the cop off with out even noticing... he said, "i know you young driving this suped up sports car but slow your *** down, i said, sir i was going to speed limit, witch i actually was, he said he could give me a ticket right then for wreckless driving but he let me go, luckely my parents were at a bar when i came home late :) btw license in windshield dosnt work, i was on a ferry boat with it like that, and sheriff was making rounds, he made me get out and walk 100ft in front of the car and see how hard it was to read at that pitch

First time i got pulled over i had my permit with my mom in the car, took a right from a stoplight and noticed a cop in the parking lot on my right, so i was careful. He pulls out and turns his lights on. I'm clueless as to what I did as is my mom. He comes up to the car and it turns out my mom wasn't wearing her seatbelt. It's funny because I think it was literally the only time she hasn't done that..she hadn't got a ticket it many years, and when she does, she's not even driving. lol

4-5 days after I got my license, I was at some sort of school event with a friend. We saw the cops leave it that were supervising it. it had rain, big school parking lot, like 9pm at night, so I start doing donuts in my 85 camaro...


DOH!

pulled me over made a comment about how long I had my license then let me go with a warning.

well, my first time happened when my mom went up north for a week and left me home alone. My ex and I had been drinking and one thing led to another and somehow a lamp got broken... oh wait, this thread's about getting pulled over isnt it? sorry

anyways, so i had just sold the 94 grand am that i'd been driving around and I had my camaro for less than a week. Compared to that POS the Camaro seemed like a drag car. So anyways, i lived at one corner of a 1-square mile subdivision and McDonalds was on the opposite corner. I was supposed to meet my friend up there at 9:00 for his break and we needed to discuss some stuff (plus he had smokes and I couldn't find anyone to buy for me and I was fiending) so i decided to skip the lights on the main road and cut thru the sub.

Somehow, as I was doing 55 thru the sub at dusk with my brights on, I missed the cop who was just sitting outside a house talking on his phone. He followed me almost the whole way. I skipped 4 stop signs, sped ridiculously thru the sub, got onto the main road and was doing 70 thru the empty construction zone. i was about to turn into the mcdonalds when i saw the blue lights. I stopped in the parking lot of the McDonalds, my friends were falling over laughing and i was shaking. The cop walks up with a cigar in his mouth, leans back and asked me "are you some kind of f***in' idiot?" and then to "sit tight, i've got alot of writing to do." i waited 15 minutes before he came back with just warning. He told me he remembered being young and stupid and to start thinking about little johnny playing in the street and all that. He was trying to give me some scare therapy... it worked. I've never driven like that again, but i've been pulled over for lesser stuff...
