my quarter panel hit the gate, flung it open, and the rear bumper hit the huge-@$$ fence post, it was rotten so it just pushed it back. The gate was metal so there is my quarter panel.

How fast were you going again?

a hammer and a lot of time to try with the fender

i have a sprayer, and seeing how limited on cash i am, this is going to have to work for now.

I'll find out if i need a new wheel/tire and
alignment.. how much would that be?

The car doesn't seem way out of wack, just that the steering wheel isn't centered when the car is driving straight. it doesn't seem to pull really bad, except that the passenger front tire is a bit low.

25 mph corner. I would guess i was going 35-40. Nothing incredible, just a horrible corner and some bad luck. I'd say by the time of impact, I was probably going 10-15, but it was off the road so it was on bad terrain, and with the fence there, it didn't leave me much.

I'll tell you though, I know this was supposed to happen to me. I don't drive like an idiot most the time, but this will teach me to NEVER do that. I wasn't being a total idiot today, but it was too fast for the conditions, and i'm paying for it.

90% of the time i don't even do the normal 5 over. I try to follow laws and not get messed up. This was the FIRST TIME i've ever gone around corners that might push the car to it's limit, and if the pavement were drier, the car would have been fine. The pavement looked dry, but it was still drying off, so it wasn't perfect, and i was going too fast for the conditions.

da*n man,sucks ............. i remember the day i did a almost 360 in a turn in rain, never again ......... i drive slower than a 80 yrs grandpa in rain ............to find your parts, post thread in our and few other (i.e ls1tech, cz28, etc) forums "wanted" section............you won't believe how many members from different places check the wanted section.......... a trip to your local junk yard wouldn't hurt either ......... hope you get your car back together........... good luck!

i think everyone has learned their lesson about f bodies and rain. luckily for me, i didnt hit anything, just did a nice 360. but that sucks about your car, good luck on getting it fixed.

That sucks, I know I've had some close calls in the rain going around turns even at like 10-15 mph. You go into recovery mode pretty quick when you feel the rear end slip, holy **** I rhymed.
