I have seen those pics of the vette/camino before and heard that it was a vette that was rear ended and intead of them totalling the car they decided to save it and built it into something never seen. Not that saying it looks the best but at least it saves a vette from the bone yard.
As to the SSR being a fugly slow POS, I disagree. There are some SSR's in the 11's with full weight and they look amazing. Sorry but I have always been a fan of 50's styling with the big fenders and it just seems to work. The only disadvantage the SSR has is how heavy it is cuz I would get better MPG and be alot faster.
Jpx87 where did you hear that the camaro was not on hold? As far as I have read, the Corvette is the only one to move along and the camaro is still on hold (just they will not stop production of it). Also DOD will help out with gas expectations so I highly doubt we will see any changes and everything will stay the same.Comment

I've heard the Camaro is not on hold...to far into the planning stages...
the 05-06 SSR's came w/ the LS2 (390hp) so were quicker than the 5.3 vortec (300hp)...I've seen a few SSR's in person and they look alot better imo...there cool but they were overpriced...which is why they got dumped i assume1999 Camaro Z/28
