Half of the bands listed in this thread aren't even metal. But, whatever, I always have Death cranked when I drive into my work parking lot, I love the faces on the old geezers when I drive past.

I'm with you there Goth, Black Sabbath reigns! So does my Beneath The Remains cd from old Sepultura. In a few hours, I will be taking my camaro to NYC because DEICIDE is performing tonight at BB Kings with Immolation, Skinless & Despised Icon opening up for them. i will definately be at this years ozzfest, i already have my ticket. and im thinking about going to the megadeth show but the thing is that the only bands that ive heard from that tour are megadeth and fear factory, both of which kick *** and it would be worth it just to see those two. ive heard different things about dream theater, i dont think ive ever heard any of their music. can someone recommend some good songs or tell me what they sound like, compare them with other bands and stuff like that.

You are talking about Gigantour? My friend is the bass player in Dry Kill Logic, check out their site for some tunes. I will be at Gigantour in Pok, NY this summer. :cool:

Other stuff I listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Mudvayne, Adema, AC/DC, W.A.S.P (new stuff is sick [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img] ), P-Roach, KillSwitch Engage, Flybanger, Fozzy, the list goes on...

Dream Theatre to me is technically progressive metal/ hard rock. Hard to describe but check out their song; Pull Me Under. First time I heard that thru Dream Theatre 1992's Images & Words album, I played it over many times cuz it was really heavy. From there do your own track listening, it's worth it.
