I seriously hope you were joking about that? even so thats in incredibly bad taste. I do not scam on items I sell, I do not expect to buy anything other than what is ACURATELY described in the auction. I have only ran into one problem in my purchases on Ebay and the seller did take the item back and refund my money. You are proud of screwing people by lying about what you are selling?

You're a tool. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd be reporting you right now to eBay. Maybe when I get a little bit more time on my hands I'll do so.

It's people like you who ruin that online auction community.

And on the topic...that is a great form of punishment. I'm glad my parents never had to go that far with me. Couldn't see myself without a Dreamcast/Playstation2 in highschool.

We need more parents willing to discipline their kids like that!
wow, i hate it when people go off like this. Kids act up because of anything but not being disciplined enough. We need more parents to do a real job parenting and actually spend time with their kids. Just discipline will make a child bitter, frustrated, and angry. Not a good recipe for a normal adult.

I think it's pretty damn funny... kids never thought twice about getting grounded for a day or two. It was never a deterent - instead they just thought about whether what they were doing was worth getting grounded if they ended up getting caught.

My parents never grounded me when I was little, since I didn't care - I'd just go and read. My mom figured out the best way to punish me was to fine me money

And when I was a horrible teen, and being *****y to her, she'd just tell me so, which would shock me into being nicer ;)

I know have the best relationship with my mother that a person could ever dream of - I didn't always think she was being fair, but I realized later that really, she was.

I think the popularity of the man selling the wedding dress last month is starting a trend of long personal ads.

Great, its this type of crap and people's positive response to it that fuels the creation of more frigging reality TV shows...

I think it is funny. One of the ways to sell things on ebay is to tell interesting stories...and I think this counts.

Kid shouldn't have done what he did.

She doesn't sound too bright in the first paragraph, but she gets better.

I wonder if she paid for the PS2 as well, she might have to add that to her expenses.

Things like this make me feel very grateful towards my parents. They aren't perfect by any means, but they never had to resort to anything like selling my stuff.

I was 6'5" 250 my freshman year of school when I was 14. and I wasn't the biggest freshman at my school.

As for the mom... I don't blame here... kid is an idiot. I woudl do something crazy to my kid if he was stealing alcohol blatantly at 13...

If he did it out in the open shows he can walk over his parents and have no respect for anyone. I mean I think it woudl be a bit harsh if he was sneaking alcohol, like steal some vodka and refill it with water

AS for the kid scamming crap on ebay?

Thats fecked up, people have been known to travel across states to beat the piss out of people like that.
