Its too bad about everything, but truly what matters is that no one was injured.

I'll start a thread on new cars in a few when I have a good idea of what I want.

I was hit about a month and three weeks ago by a truck. I was going 40 and he was going 35. He ran a red light and i hit him head on. It costed the insuranace $8,600 to fix my car.

Glad to hear your ok man.

Glad you're ok and no one was hurt. Being hit at 50 mph and walking away with no problems.. someone is definately watching over you.

Well man, Glad you're okay, a wrecked car is surely no rug in a river....

But that guy saying what he said (passenger) probably really helped you. 50mph = excessive speed. That can be cause for blame for a wreck...somebody pulled out on a buddy of mine (turned otu in front of him)...and because my buddy was doing 80 in a 55, he will be at fault.

Second, and nobody really uses this but they should...people that don't make an effort to get out of the way ARE at fault due to the "last clear chance" clause. if i see you coming i HAVE to try to stop or get out of the way...

glad to hear you didn't get corked in the can.

Man, you were unlucky.
I had someone pull out on me once (about 3 years ago). I took avoiding action and managed to miss him, but on correcting I spanked the kerb and did £3,000 (sterling) to my car. Did the guy stop?
Did he ****!

Hope all gets sorted.
