I just bought a DVD, a CD, and a memory card for my camera before I left. I just paid regular price and didn't even bother checking what the discount was. Our discount sucks.

LOL, ok, fair enough. Someone was talking about how good the discount was compared to the sales price. Guess they were wrong in your case. :D

Too bad most places don't carry a military discount of that amount. I didn't go hog-wild, not like I could have. Getting a good deal on a few things I wanted to get as gifts for others and a new vid card feels good though, makes the dollar go further so I can get more gifts for ppl. Ah well, good times.
alot of time if you ask if they have millitar discounts the manger will come over and give you 5-10% :D :D

I was up and out, My roommate and our GF's went out really early. We hit Shopko at 5am. I bought a PS2 game and a crockpot.

Then it was off to OfficeMax, which was the big stop of the day.

            There I got:
            WD 200gig HD (49.99 AR)
            64mb SD Card (free AR)
DVD +/- Dual Layer Burner (39.99 AR)
            Stylus/Pen (Free AR)

Then we went to Target where I bought a Digital camera for my GF for Xmas. Wasn't a great deal, but not bad either.

I also hit Kohls and bought a new wallet, because my old was was about 6 years old and pretty beat.

By this time it was around 9am. We went to breakfast. We were all sitting around looking over receipts while we waited for our food. I was going over my rebate print out for officemax. I couldn't find the ones for my DVD burner anywhere. Well, I looked at my receipt, and low and behold, I didn't get charged for the burner. So, all in all, I had a pretty good day.

              Dis,

Nice! About that digital camera, was it a Samsung 4MP digital camera? I was thinking about getting that one as well, but I decided not to and sav for the Fuji camera I want to get. Good finds!

                L32,

Yup, that camera is the one. I played with it in the store and some more at home. I personaly would not have bought it for myself. It lacks features such as Optical zoom, Rechargeable battery, various image options, ect.

My GF really only needs a basic point and shoot. For this reason I felt this camera would more than do that job.

I personaly just bought a Cannon SD110 a few weeks ago. I'm VERY happy with this purchase. Great Features all packed in a very stylish, afordable and TINY package.

Yeah, I'm looking at the Fuji Finepix A500 or A550, has a lot of options, tiny package and large LCD for previews. Now to get the $250 I need for it... :D

I'm not concerned about cost of memory, I don't need a large amount as I'm not starting a porn company or anything. Shoot, I'm sure 32MB will do just fine.
