Can't go wrong with Asus.
As far as the hard drives, I would just go with 7200 rpm drives. I have heard bad things about keeping the 10,000rpm drives cool, ad having them live longer than a couple years.
You can hook up 2 WD drives with 8mb cache on SATA and it will be plenty fast enough...
SATA is also a pain in the *** though... just having the drivers and **** for it.
I would get some Corsair RAM... RAID (on the mother board)
and is the DDR 400 the best ram
im confused becuase some board say DDR/400 and some say DUAL channle DDR 400
