probably true. but its all about perspective. I live in an area where there are no giordanos around and i really like giordanos. so if i went to chicago i would get some. same thing as if someone from NY asked me what good places are here in NC. Yes, I would probably tell them about local businesses, but I wouldnt leave out chic-fil-a and bojangles, which are pretty scarce up there.
