Why haven't I swapped yet?

My V6 is reliable.
The insurance is cheaper.
Maintenance is cheaper.
Gas is still expensive ($3.20/gallon and it keeps going higher).
And I have no mechanical abilities of my own and no greasemonkey boyfriend, brother, or dad.

2. False - you don't HAVE to tell them you swapped
3. False - parts are quite similarly priced since you can put v8 parts on a v6 car
4. True - but a real gear head doesn't care. My Z06 avg'd 12 mpg, at $4.79 a gallon
