just wanted to keep you guys in the loop with the whereabouts of the 'maro since she's been hit.
went to the bodyshop to check up on things yesterday, and things are looking better. the repairs to the body and damage are nearly complete, and painting is being finished up. she looks put back together very well so far, and i talked with the manager there and got a great deal on painting the roof strip between the ttops and rear windshield factory gloss black, like the Z28's and SS's have --- something i've wanted to do for a while anyway. the rest of the damage to my aftermarket parts will be verified and appraised after the initial bodywork is done, hopefully the car will be back to me in a few weeks.
i took out the replacement gm corner lens so i can niteshade it and try to match it to my other one, that shouldn't be too much trouble. new projector halos are on the way to the shop to go in as well.
but the bad news is my rims (c6 z06) are apparently out of stock EVERYWHERE and are said to be possibly discontinued, so im SOL as far as getting them back. her company is completely liable for my car so from my understanding they must provide me with new rims of my choice since the car cant be put back as was. i'm a little sad i cant have my rims, but at the same time i've always wanted these:

thinking about going staggered this time
what do you guys think? i love the deep dish look and i think staggered 17/18 might really bring it all together. i'm open to suggestions and comments.
if things work out that way, i suppose i'll have 3 nearly new 17 x 9.5 c6 z06 rims for sale if anyone is interested or needs replacements (even though i really want to put them on the ls1 but i'll have the odd number). i'll keep everyone posted if so.
