• Damn SRT-4.....

Met on a busy street both going nuts at traffic moving at a whoppin 25mph in a 50! We both did a shoulder pass by a bus and a few cars, and blew off down the street, got up to about 40 and just stomped back down, he took off for an instant, I caught him and almost pulled away till I hit about 65ish and then he just kept goin... UGH! Damn tubro'd cars that weigh as much as my engine/trans... Pulled over and chatted for a few minutes and I got to drive his car, what a fun little toy I wont lie, but not a car for me.

... So let me get this straight... you raced on a busy street? Passed in the shoulder? You both sound like losers to me

Lol it was busy behind us, we were both in a hurry and it was a bus and a few cars and a van holding everyone back.... Warm day and dry streets, open shoulder with a turn lane soon, so we took advantage. Once we were clear we messed around.

Do you have a sh!t load of mods on your car?? I ask because an SRT-4 from a roll is a bit of a handfull.

Not really its actually all messed up currently, but it gives me an advantage I don't want to keep.. My entire back of my interior is in the garage, seat belts are all taken out, no air intake its wide open, cat has been emptied, brand new trans not a refurb, wrong size tires a little tall 225/65/16s which don't add any wieght really, iat 10k resistor and I like to pump 110 racing fuel.

Ya he did jump pretty quick it is possible he let off his gas for a second there in between, cause when I drove it, whoa boy that is a fun little front wheel drive pile... ROFL, can't wait to get my turbo or super done and give him a call and race again.

Educate me in what exactly? Not a whole lot you can or need to educate me about cars, unless you want to teach me about turbos and superchargers, as in the kinda stuff the guys at the pro speed shops know.

I know damn well that SRT4 is a hot little car. I also plan on finishing mine off and destroying Z-28s and Trans Ams, and I really don't care what it takes. 15,000$ 20,000$, a year, 2 years? Whatever the case may be, I am an extremest, and I will never be done. I am thinking about rebuilding the motor for alcky anyways, no more of this pump fuel garbage. If I can't get this motor to put out at least 600 to my rear wheels I'll never own another V6 in my life.

Not trying to brag about the guy letting off his gas to let me catch him quick. I know damn well that car has alot more power and a lot less weight.

ohh ya I saw it. I was running 110, becuase the car sat for a long time, and it needed to be cleaned out before I can get a chance to rebuild it. It was panzy driven for a long time before I got it. And I just have a habbit of pumping the best there is where I am at, yes I know its not the best idea... I'm done with it anyways, dropping back down to 92 until I race it this spring.
