  • time to replace brakes

    my front rotors are warped a little and i am wondering if any of you guys have the brembo cross drilled rotors and if so how are they? otherwise maybe y'all can recommend something else

    R1 concepts are nice , good price too. Check ebay or their website, I think they have a cheaper price on ebay though.

      i have r1 concepts with autozone ceramic pads love it!!!

        r1 here also. i always buy the cheapest breaks from autozone. the best breaks that where ever made. don't waste money on $90 a set pads.

          Has anyone here even used nice pads in the past? It really does make a difference. I was running powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

              what are some signs that your brakes need to be replaced, as in, squeaking, popping, and when stopping from high speed the whole car shakes... alignment maybe? i dont know when the brakes were last replaced, but i do know that the car has 138883 miles on it.

                If it's constant squeaking then your pads may be getting warn out. You'll have to look to see if the wear indicators are hitting your rotors. Shaking can be a sign of warped rotors and I have no idea what you mean by popping.

                It's kind of hard to diagnose brakes without being there.
